Luke 3:18
“So with many other exhortations he preached good news to the people.”
An exhortation is defined as a strong encouragement. If exhortations are not spoken in love they can come across as rude, and you can lose the audience you were trying to communicate with. Jesus exhorted many people in His ministry, but He then would speak the goods things of His nature and communicate those things in love. We are to live by His example.
Application: Pray that God’s love flows through you every time you share the Gospel.
