Jeremiah 1:10
“To root out and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant.”
So when you plant a tree, do you not physically assault the ground? You take a shovel or a spade and you jab at the ground, you break apart the dirt, and continue to assault it until it is fine and removable. Then you plant the seed. But the first step is toil and destruction. The next is kneading and removable. But what come out of such a laborious act is fruit. The product is productive. And what is seen is beautiful.
