Psalm 69

Raise your hand.  Clap two times.  Or Give a “whoop, whoop” if you have the testimony of immediately turning your rage into a prayer to God.

…Still silence.  David is lamenting or recalling an experience.  His enemies stood against him, and he faced trial.  But he resolved to be silent, and pray.  He knew that his anger would not glorify God, nor would his actions be pleasing.  So he prayed.  He not only turned his eyes to Jesus, but he did so humbly. In David’s eyes there was truly nothing but the Lord- his Lord.  He took every opportunity to connect to Him, and fix his eyes back on the Lord. May we too know nothing but our Lord.
