“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
It’s a good thing God doesn’t call for us to like each other, but Christ commands love. The emotion of “like” is so wavering and inconsistent. But love conquers all. It’s hard to like those that annoy you, or are so different from your own personality. But with Christ’s love, unity is still possible. Jesus died for me BEFORE I surrendered my life to Him. So it’s not too much to love those and treat them with love like Christ would BEFORE they change.
